vowbabyWOW · Sponsor a story
Some stories need more hands than ours.
A person, a family or an organisation asks for a sponsor. We verify the story before it is listed. Sponsors fund the making of a specific gift, paper, song or book, never cash; the money is held until the gift is made, and if a story is withdrawn or proven untrue, every sponsor is told first and chooses a refund or another story.
vowbabyWOW is a company-funded giving initiative of vowbaby, not a charity. Sponsorships are not donations and are not tax-deductible.

How it works
Verified, held, made, told.
A request
The person, family or organisation tells the story in their own words, says what they are asking for, and signs the Sponsor Request Agreement.
Verification
A person checks it: identity, the circumstance, the people named. Nothing is listed until it holds up; what is listed is edited for privacy.
Sponsorship
Sponsors fund the gift toward a stated goal by a needed-by date. Every sponsorship moves the bar; the money is held by vowbaby, not paid out to anyone.
The making
When the goal is met the studio makes the gift exactly as it would for a paying customer, and delivers it privately. If the date arrives first, the requester's standing choice applies: a partial gift from what was raised, or the money moves to the vowbabyWOW fund.
Told
Sponsors hear when it is delivered. If a story is withdrawn or proven untrue, sponsors hear first and choose: refund, or move it to another story.

Ask for a sponsor
Tell us the story. Truthfully.
For yourself, for your family, or for an organisation that serves people in hard chapters: hospitals, churches, nonprofits, galas. Keep medical and financial detail out of the public story; the reviewer may ask you for it privately.
